Ben Johnson '20 G'21 graduated from Elon University with an MA in Interactive Media, a double BA in Communications Design, and Cinema & Television Arts, as well as a double minor in Computer Science and Digital Art and a technical certificate in Music Technology. As an undergraduate student, Ben worked as a graphic designer for the university where he created over forty poster designs for campus-wide programs and cultural events. As a music producer, Ben has collaborated with numerous independent artists and has scored several short films.
Since 2018, Ben has worked closely with filmmaker Cornelius Muller as a media coordinator and producer on various projects including a forthcoming feature film titled "Making Him Famous." In 2020, Ben interned under writer/director David Ayer in Los Angeles. In the realm of interactive design, Ben has worked with several clients such as the Terra Cotta Heritage Foundation to develop digital solutions to specific needs while collaborating with other designers, writers, and content coordinators. In 2021, Ben released the first chapter of Ghost Notes, a self-designed and fully developed interactive narrative with elements of music production and game design.
